Singapore Township is one of the best places to live in Hyderabad.
It is the vision of the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandra Babu Naidu, to create a place like Singapore in Hyderabad. No doubt his dream has been fulfilled with this great project.

Later it is renamed to Sanskruti Township

 





I am new to Hyderabad. How can I reach Singapore Township?
First reach Uppal. Uppal is a popular place in Hyderabad which is well connected by bus to almost all places in Hyderabad such as Kukatpally, Mehdipatnam, Secunderabad, Koti, ...
After reaching Uppal, you take buses going to Ghatkesar(Bus No: 280). Ask conductor to give ticket to Annojiguda. Get down at Annojiguda. It is walkable from there.

How to reach Singapore Township from Uppal?
Distance from Uppal X Roads: 13KM
1. There are too many service autos which charge Rs 6 during regular hours and Rs 10 after 9pm (or)
2. Take any bus going to Ghatkesar (Bus No: 280) (or)
3. There are buses directly going to Singapore Township (frequency is very less)

How to reach Singapore Township from Secunderabad?

Distance from Secunderabad: 24 KM
1. Take any bus going to Ghatkesar (Bus No: 280)
2. Take the green color buses going to Yadagiri gutta(As per rule these buses are supposed to stop at any place you prefer)
3. There are buses directly going to Singapore Township (frequency is very less)
4. Take any bus going to Bogaram, Fakirabad

The township has 4 types of homes:
1. 2-BHK (2 Bedrooms, 1 Hall, 1 Kitchen, 2 Bathrooms)
2. 3-BHK (3 Bedrooms, 1 Hall, 1 Kitchen, 3 Bathrooms, 2 Balconies)
3. Duplex Homes (3 Bedrooms, 1 Hall, 1 Kitchen, 3 Bathrooms, 4 Balconies, 1 prayer room, 1 narrow store room below the stairs)
4. Pent House : No Info
The hall and kitchen of 3BHK are larger than that of Duplex home. The area of 3BHK is larger than that of Duplex home.

I just reached township, please suggest me a place to eat?
There is a privately run curry point in A-34, Flat No. 303.
They make delicious curries(veg and non-veg) and meals at nominal charges. They undertake bulk order for parties as well. A boon to all bachelors. BSNL number: +9140-2719-6168.

Where to get drinking water?
Two taps available in the kitchen of every home are ready to drink. It is advisable to heat to get rid of unwanted circumstances.

What about cooking gas?
Every home has got a gas connection. You need to activate the

connection by requesting at the office. They charge Rs 20 per month for availing this connection even if it is not used. The charges are based on the gas consumption.

NOTE: It is advisable to keep an extra stove or cylinder at home as there are certain days when the gas supply is stopped due to pipeline correction.

Schools:
1. Sree Vidyaniketan International School: This is within the township. Film actor Mohan Babu owns this school.
2. Kendriya Vidyalayas are best known for their education since years. The closest Kendriya Vidyalayas are at Ghatkesar(4 km) and at Uppal(12km).

How to pay current bills?
1. Pay directly to the person who comes to the township on 15th and 28th of every month to collect the current bill. He sits opposite to canara bank ATM. Timing: 9am to 1pm.

2. If you have online bank account you can also pay online at https://secure.aponline.gov.in --> create an account if you are new user and then continue.

How to pay BSNL bills?
1. Pay directly in the BSNL office at Singapore Township.
2. If you have online bank account you can also pay online at http://www.bsnl.co.in --> "Pay landline Bills" (under online services section) -->

"LAND LINE BILL PAYMENTS -INIDVIDUAL & GROUP" --> create

an account if you are new user and then continue.

It is good to take BSNL landline / internet connection in township as compared to Reliance Wimax or other services. One big advantage is all the calls made to the BSNL connections within the township are FREE!! The BSNL team in township is good and service is better unlike other BSNL offices.

I am the owner can you please tell me the present maintenance charge per month?
2 BHK : Rs 700 per month (Rs 800 earlier)
3 BHK : Rs 900 per month (Rs 1020 earlier)
Duplex : Rs 1100 per month (Rs 1270 earlier)
Pent house: Rs 1350 per month (Rs 1560 earlier)

What is the average rent of a home in Singapore Township?
furnished 2BHK : Rs 9000 per month including maintenance charges
furnished 3BHK : Rs 12000 per month including maintenance charges
furnished Duplex : Rs 12000 per month including maintenance charges

The rent is Rs 1500 lesser for homes without furniture.

The tenant has to pay current bill and gas bill as per usage.

How many flats are presently occupied in Singapore Township?
About 1500 are being occupied out of 2080 homes available in the township as on June, 2016. Most of them are staying on rent. Most of the owners are not aware of the happenings in the township which in turn is creating super power to the authorities of township.

What are the typical problems in Singapore Township?

1. Lifts don't work when there is no power. Top floor people really struggle. (10 floor buildings have generators)

2. Water is too hot after 10 am during summer
3. Not well connected to city
4. Buildings with cracks often seen. Tiles inside the home crack as well.
5. Bathroom leakage through the walls
6. Its too far from the main road. The farthest home from main entrance is 2.5KM and the nearest home is 1.3KM.
7. No juice center, no bakery, can't get fresh vegetables or fruits as needed.

Is there a swimming pool, gym in Singapore Township?
Beware most of the real estate people are falsely boosting on swimming pool and gym. As on Jun 2016 there is NO such facility in Singapore Township.

Is there an official website for the township?
Township has launched a website on September 30, 2009 www.sanskrutitownship.com.


How do I pay maintenance charge online?
Method 1:

After transferring the amount call 9948542533 (Santhosh) and inform him that you have paid the maintenance bill and provide the transaction ID and date if possible.

Method 2:
Step 1: Visit the office and get the login and password details. They always said, their website is down and they couldn't give the login details. The website might have been designed in such a way that anyone can create the login by themselves. The committee is so pathetic.

Step 2: Pay the bill online if there is a way.

Can we run businesses in the township?
Authorities say it is unofficial to run any business within the township. But Srinidhi hostel is accepted.


What is the status of IT Park near township?
Part of the IT Park is already constructed and some of the companies have started their operations since Oct 2009. This is just opposite to Singapore Township back gate and can be considered as integrated with Singapore Township.

How far is Infosys(SEZ) from Singapore Township?
Infosys(SEZ) is just less than 0.5KM from Singapore Township back gate. Infosys(SEZ) can be considered as integrated with Singapore Township. Infosys claims this as as one of their biggest campuses.





Where are the near by temples?

1. Ayyappa Temple just walkable from the township (image shown below).
2. Gayatri Temple (also called floating lotus temple) just walkable from the township (image shown below).

3. Shiva Temple at NFC Nagar, Ghatkesar. Huge statue of Lord Shiva and Hanuman. Must visit. Unable to upload images.

What are the nearby engineering colleges?

There are too many engineering colleges near by. Srinidhi being the best among all the surrounding engineering colleges.

Misc:
1. Vinayaka Chavithi will be celebrated for 9 days.
2. Shuttle grounds not at all maintained by township management
